Victoria Arbizu-Sabater, originally from Seville, Spain, has taught Spanish at Rice since 2006, current coordinator of Second Year for Spanish, Rice-alumna 1999, and Associate of Wiess College. She is presently working on her Doctoral Research on Linguistics and the History of Spanish Language in Texas with the University of Seville. She has been living in Houston with her family since 1997.
